Web presences of institutes, seminars and departments of the ZDU must be realized within the domain uzh.ch, so that such websites are also recognizable by their web address (URL).
Websites hosted with us correspond to web subdomains, but not in all cases to e-mail subdomains. Subdomains including mail service (MX) are only available for institutes and organizational units of the ZDU, competence centers, university research focuses, and UZH museums (see organisational chart).
External domains such as www.abc.net must be registered externally. If they are to refer to an internal domain hosted with us, the corresponding DNS entries must be set up with the external provider.
