MOOC Platform Coursera

Coursera was founded in 2012 and is currently the world's largest MOOC platform, with over 90 million learners and 200 partner universities and companies. UZH has been a partner of Coursera since 2012.

Courses on Coursera benefit from the platform's worldwide presence and its longstanding experience with online courses. However, the data is stored in the US and treated in accordance with US law. Therefore, UZH students must not be obliged to attend a Coursera course for reasons of data protection.
