Installation on Managed Windows 10 Clients

For users with a managed Windows 10 Client (ZDU and individual institutes), the Microsoft 365 package is available for installation from the Software Center. With the installation, the previous Office 2016 will be completely replaced. The installation takes about 15 minutes. Please allow for additional time for downloading the sources from slower networks. The Teams Client is included in the package, but can only be used after a restart of the computer.

Please note that Visio and Project are uninstalled during installation. You will have to reinstall matching Microsoft 365 versions of those. Please contact your IT Coordinator to do so, as these versions need new licenses.

Microsoft Teams is installed alongside the "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 365" Package. After package installation, a reboot is necessary to see and use Microsoft Teams, however.
